Do you happen to know who his wife might have been? I have an Andrew Jackson Powell that, depending on which census you look at, was born in North Carolina. He was born in 1824, which could make a possible connection (or not). He also went to Kentucky. I have no parents or siblings for him either. He married Mary Jane Bates.born in Tennessee.
