Hello back again. 1] Aaron Powell b. 1755 in Halifax Co NC. and wife Mary Shaw. had sons 2] Henry Aaron b. 1785 NC and 2] Eaton Powell b. 1789 Aaron and Mary apparently had at least two other sons. 2] James Powell b. 1791 ???? and 2] William Cullen Powell b. 1793 who married Jane Davis, and had sons 3] John Burwell,. abt 1816 m. Caroline Gilbert Egerton 4]William Grey Powell abt 1840 3] Thomas H. Powell b. abt 1818 3] also daugh Eliza Hill Powell abt 1822 Is anyone on this list researching this James or William Cullen family? I am still seeking a father for a Benjamin Powell who appears in the 1860 census of Halifax Co NC age 45.
