My husband's great, great grandmother was Mary Ann Powell Lester who was a brother to John Byrd Powell and the daughter of Pleasant and Winifred Wood Powell. She and George Lester lived in Cullman County, I have not been able to find when she died or where she is buried. George remarried in 1883 but do not know if Mary Ann died or what happened to her.
