Abt 1802 in NC d. 1864 in Decatur County, GA. My records show that Jethro married Argent (unknown) b. Abt 1804 d. Abt 1865 Decatur County, GA. I would like to know who Argent was and if possible trace her ancestors. I would also be interested in knowing the parents/ancestors of Jethro who migrated to Georgia from NC. The earliest I find this ancestor is in the 1830 Census in Dooly County, GA. Sometime between 1840 and 1850 the family moved from Dooly County to Decatur County. Their age in the 1860 census seems to indicate that they were both born about 5 - 10 years earlie than the dates above.
