As was explained before the subject line is coming from people who are posting to messages on the Powell RootsWeb forum and those messages are then sent to the mailing list. You have no control over the subject line when you reply to a message on the forum. Second, it doesn't really matter if you are reading in digest mode or not you get a list of messages and I get a list of messages. Yes, I'd like to see more meaningful messages but I am just glad to see an active list.
