A number of my family members are trying to learn where John POWEL was born, and the maiden name of his wife, Joanna. John died intestate in Newberry Township, York Co., PA, 1774. After John's death, in about 1785, Joanna married a SHANNON, and we have not been able to find when/where they married. Anyone on this list researching this family? Billy
