There are about a dozen Potter families living in Providence in the late 1700s: Reuben, Abijah, Joseph, Phineas, William, George, among others. It would be great to communicate with someone who has knowledge of the Potters of Providence, ca. 1770s. The printed and on line genealogies are pretty skimpy; the IGI, Ancestral File info is scattered and/or full of obvious errors.
