I have never conclusively got any Potter back to England. My last known Potter goes back to possibly Leicestershire. He came over to the colonies in 1638 I believe. Apparently Nathaniel took part in the settling of Road Island. He signed some document along with 28 other people which swore their allegence with the King of England. He died in Portsmouth I think. He possibly had a brother named Robert. And some people believe Nathaniel had a father named George. I don't have my stuff with me here so a few facts may have been switched around.
