Jesse b. c1792 Franklin Co. VA d. bef 5 MAY 1851 Jefferson Co. KY. Per his will he did not marry. 2. Thomas b. 1793 VA d. 9 JUN 1871 (per LDS) or documented "after 1865" in Atchison Co. KS. He married Celia JACKSON 1 JAN 1816 (bond date) Lincoln Co. KY. She was the daughter of Ephraim Jackson/Nancy (Bird or Bailey or ??) 3. William b. between 1796-1800. Moses' will contains a curious statement -- "If son William dies, his share is to be equally divided among the others." Does this mean William didn't marry either? Nothing like this was mentioned under Jesse's name. Is this William, the William Potter who married Nancy (Atkinson) Spraggins, dau of Joel Atkinson d.1808 in Lincoln Co.? Is this William the one whose tombstone in Lincoln Co. KY reads: b. 2-11-1798 d. 2-13-1884? 4. Lewis b. c1799 VA d. bef 31 JAN 1848. He is probably the Lewis who married Mahala BRYANT 14 APR 1824 in Shelby Co. KY. 5. Jane b. c1804 VA. She married 1st Ephraim POTTER 2 JUN 1822 in Jefferson Co. and 2nd Thomas BRYANT 13 APR 1836 in Shelby Co. KY 6. Benjamin Franklin b. c1809 was in Floyd Co. IN on the 1850 census. He married 1st Isabel Ratcliff 5 JUN 1832 Shelby Co. KY and 2nd Malinda (Poulson) McRay 10 MAY 1848 in Clark Co. IN. 7. Henry b. c1815 d. bef 31 JAN 1848. He is probably the one who married Jane McKanna 4 JUN 1832 in Shelby Co. KY 8. Cinnatta b. between 1815-1820 d. bef 31 JAN 1848. She married (George) Washington BRYANT 13 APR 1831 in Jefferson Co.
