Hi J.H.! My James Posey was born somewhere in GA in 1816, as his wife Caroline. His son, John Richard, was born in Laurens Co, GA. He served in the Confederate Army in Alabama, Company K. His second wife was Emily Spencer Anderson. He died in Alabama. Anything you can tell me about his parents, siblings, birthplace would be tremendously appreciated.
