Posey) of Franklin Parish, Louisiana. He and his relatives would be interested in any information you can provide concerning Capt. D. B. Posey. D. B. Posey from Franklin Parish, Louisiana was friends with the Jim Bowie Family and he seems to have followed the Bowies around wherever they went. As far as we know, he is the same D. B. Posey that signed up in Nagdoches, Texas, fought in the Texas Revolution and received property in Bryan, Texas which he later sold. How are you connected with this man?
