Yes, new signatures for Captain DB Posey made with a marxalot are appearing on archive microfilm and courthouse records. It is absolutely amazing, one hundred fifty years after his demise the spirit of Captain Posey is signing his name a little differently on legal documents across the land. Once the Posey haint left Austin I'm sure he headed to San Marcos where he bailed off the escarpment into Spring Lake in search of his free ranch before heading east down the El Camino Real for the lights of Winnsboro, LA. No doubt he hollered YEE HAH BRAZOS as he approached Bryan and pulled off to commit some more fraud there before heading to Louisiana. I wonder if the Posey haint has found his way back to Indiana yet? Falsification of historical documents and legal records. Doesn't it just make you TEXAS PROUD? Does this mean the titles are not clear on certain tracts of land? Who really owns Southwest Texas State University anyway? I guess it depends how you look at it. David Posey

    3. Looking for the parents of Sallie Posey who married Paul Armour in Banks County, Georgia. Her father was killed when log rolled over him as he was clearing land.     3. Lillian, I have a George Washington Posey born 1848 in Montgomery Co, AL married Elizabeth Frances Lewis born 1851 in Virginia. They were married Oct 15, 1871 in Panola Co., Texas. They had a son named George T. born in 1880. Could this be your Tom George?
