I have been informed thats the rumour within the family is that my great granfather Thomas Scorer b.1880 d.1941 spent part of his childhood within a workhouse as both his parents died before he was 10. My grandad always said that he never spoke much about his chidlhood but this is something that he does remember him saying. I know it is difficult but if there is abyone out there who is able to help it would be much appreciated. Thanking you all in advance Rachael Scorer.
