Dan, I have Pollards in Brooklyn and later in Manhattan. The names William, Katherine and Edmond repeat in the family. Interestingly I have a William and Kate also in Brooklyn in 1885. William died in 1888 and Kate remarried. They also had a daughter Katherine. Do you know where your Pollards came from... Irish or English descent? My uncle had mentioned that when they were young in the 1920's they had cousins nearby but no one can remember.
