The 1900 census shows James H. and Mary E. Pollard with seven children. Sallie H., Ida B., Willie F., Jennie, Russell T., James H., and Earl J. James H. and Mary E. are buried in the Eolia Methodist cemetery with their son Russell T. (died age 10).Do you know what the uncle's name was that James came to live with? There were several families of Pollard's in Eolia. Mine was Henry J. Pollard and William H. Pollard. They came from Albemarle County Virginia in the late 1830's. It is possible the all the Pollard families were related backin Virginia, but I can prove it yet. William
