My GGGrandfather was George Washington Pollard, b 1824 in NC. The 1880 census says his parents were both from VA. He married Eliza Jane Hord in 1848 in Owen Co IN, then settled in Ashmore, Coles IL. I have not been able to find his parents' names, but would very much like to make that connection. Dianna Pollard Strainic
