Hi Sally, Have you traced back where in Ireland your Pollards came from. My GGrandfather was Patrick Pollard b in Ireland in Tipperary, Ballingarry Parish. I have been lucky in tracing back to Ireland and his parents as well. I was fortunate enough to find Patrick's Marriage Certificate which gave me his parents and a mention of Ballingary on an obit of his presumed brother in NY. Form there it unraveled a huge mystery... The largest concentration of Pollards where collected in the Ballingarry town and surrounding Townlands in County Tipperary. Do you have any information on Patrick or Mary's Parents names? Good Luck to you. They remained in Baltimore City at least from 1850-1930. They seemed to have not strayed very far, usually living on S. Paca St. or W. Barre St. Some of the other last names I have uncovered in "my tree" are Bauer, McGee, McGill, Little, Streiman, Trott, Jewel, Bussard. If you have ANY Pollard's in the Baltimore area, I would appreciate receiving an email - sally@percey.com THANK YOU!! ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
