Roberta: The book "The History of Fayette County, GA" states that Fayette County Marriage Records, Book A, page 57, shows that Irvin Pollard married Malinda Walker on March 4, 1827 and according to Marriage Book B, page 124, he married Fanny Morgan on August 29, 1838 in Fayette County, GA.. Also, the book "Georgia Marriages 1826-1850", by Liahona Research, Heritage Quest, Bountiful, Utah (1999) shows both marriages with the same dates. If my memory is correct I have viewed on microfilm at the Georgia State Archives these Fayette County Marriage Record Books.
