Born April 9, 1924 in Bradenton, FL, she was 1 of 9 children of Silas POLLARD and Frances MORTENSEN. She lived in CA and Idaho before settling in this area 50 years ago. She returned to school later in her life and received a degree in early childhood education from Lane Community College (Oregon) because she enjoyed working with children. She is survived by 3 sons: David DAVIES, Quincy, CA; Tim DAVIES, Eugene (OR); Phillip FOSTER, Elmira (OR); 2 dau's: April Layton, Corona, CA; Annette FOSTER, Marnay, France; 1 brother: Lelie Pollard, Modesto, CA; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
