I have tried to make a connection with these Pollards and my Pollard family, but haven't been able to so far. Doesn't mean there isn't any, I just haven't made it yet. The funny part is that my ggggrandfather, Etheldred "Dread/Dred" Pollard m. Lucinda "Cinda" Smith, supposedly born in Onslow Co, NC. They had a son, Benjamin J. Pollard (b. abt 1843 Johnston Co, NC; d. aft 1900 Wake Co, NC) m. Grizzy Ann Taylor (b. abt 1846 NC; d. 1880-1900 Wake Co, NC).
