Pollard was Sophia's brother and son of John Pollard and Catherine Nichols Pollard. He married Penelope Ann Porter February 12, 1827 in Bedford, Virginia. They later moved to Missouri and settled in Pettis Co., Missouri. Both are buried in Salem Cemetery, Smithron, Missouri. Jesse N. Pollard was my GG Grandfather. He was born April 22. 1800 in Bedford Co., Virginia and died August 09, 1870 in Pettus Co., Missouri. My grandmother was a Pollard. Ruth
