I have a George Pollard m. Elizabeth Marshall who is a grandson of Francis Pollard, his father being Thomas Pollard. That George had a brother named John who also had a child named George. My George was born in about 1800 and he married Mary Griffen Adams in around 1822. The years and the Adams sound promising for a family link, anyway.
