Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hEBBAIB/1275 Message Board Post: Looking to connect my John Pollard (born 1794-1804; married Mary Porter 1818 in Franklin County, Indiana; daughter Susannah Pollard, born 1819; died 1820-1829, probably Rush County) with the other Pollards found in the area. My list of Pollards in the area 1820-1830: William Pollard: Born 1790-1800, married Nancy Curry in Franklin County 1820. Lived in Shelby County, Indiana (1830/1840 Census, widow Nancy on 1850 Census). Among his children there was a Reuben and a Susan A Pollard. Multiple Pollard families found in Shelby County around 1850. Reuben Pollard: On the 1820 Census in Fayette County, born 1860-1870. 1 (or 2) sons in household, 1 age 16-18, 1 age 16-28, the age overlap on the 1820 Census can be confusing. Possibly in the household of Richard Pollard in 1830. Richard Pollard: Married Sally Culbertson in Fayette County 1828, stayed in Fayette County until after 1850, then found in Johnson County, Indiana. Among the names of his children: Reuben & Susanna. Born Ohio about 1804. Phillip Pollard: Bought and sold land in Fayette County between 1825 and 1835, one piece of land from Sally Culbertson Pollard's father, James Culbertson. No children, married Elizabeth Reagan and moved to Cass County, Indiana. Susanna Pollard: Born 1795 in Kentucky, married to Thomas Reed. Marriage possibly in Adams County, Ohio in 1812. Her daughter Elizabeth Reed married Clark Porter, first cousin of Mary Porter who married John Pollard. Samuel Pollard: Born 1784 in Maryland, married Ruth Watson in Mason County, Kentucky in 1805. Found in Wayne County as early as 1820. Son of Benjamin Pollard of Maryland.
