Martin I have Pollards from Market Harborough but haven't quite worked them all out. Have you had a look at all the pollard entries i have put on the Pollard website. http://freepages.family.rootsweb.com/~ricksgenealogy/market_harborough_leictershire.htm These were taken straight from the Films from the Family History Society, Mormans. I am descended from Catherine Pollard and her sone Robert, they had a James but I have not been able to track he nor his ancestors down, Robert and his wife Mary came to Australia with the youngest of their nine children, that I can work out but I don't know where the older ones ended up. They were still alive when their parents died as they are listed with their ages on the death certificates. We also had a Thomas b 1837 in Market Harborough but he died as a baby.
