I think her parents were Joseph E Pollard & Sarah Ann Harris. Possibly Della had a sister Hattie Pollard that married Edmond E woodson (Columbus' brother). Any info would be muchly appreciated.. Joan, Do you know if your Pollard's have a connection to White Co., TN? My husband's Pollard came to White Co., TN from VA abt. 1827. Edward Varner Pollard, b. August 4, 1799 VA, married Tharissa "Thursey" Pettus, 1823, Fluvanna Co., VA. Thursey was b. August 5, 1802 VA.
