    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hEBBAIB/1218 Message Board Post: I'm sharing & searching. There is a book, Pollard Genealogy Being a Record of One Line of the Pollard Family Descended From Thomas Pollard of Billerica, Mass, compiled by Stephen Pollard, printed by Frank L. Pollard of East Orange NJ in 1902. One mistake - Oliver Pollard was NOT in the 1st Brigade, 6th Division from 1810-1820. It was Stephen Jr. I know this because I have the Maine militia book, and all company orders are signed by Stephen. Does anyone have any further info regarding the William to Thomas to William to Oliver to Oliver to Stephen line? By the way, I've discovered two lines from there which run to the Mayflower!

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Pollard Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hEBBAIB/1214 Message Board Post: This has got to be one of the most amazing sites. There are strict guidelines of the use of content so nothing can be posted on the Rootsweb Board. Here is the URL and a few instructions for those of you who may not have seen this site before. http://www.brooklynpubliclibrary.org/eagle/index.htm When you pull that URL, click on: Log In It will take a bit for the next page, which opens another browser to load. When you get there, you'll see a tab at the top that says: Keyword Search Click on that tab. I left the default settings and in the box called: Search Term I typed in Pollard. It will load some matches. You can click on the pics of the Newspaper icons and it will open a small browser so that you can read the entire article. This is an amazing site. It's not just the content, it's the site itself that has me amazed. Hey...web design is my thing and I am just amazed. Did I mention I was amazed? lol.. A person could spend all day on that site, providing they were easily amused like me...lol...Enjoy ! Sherri http://www.bagby.org
