His first name is misspelled. It should be Bartlomiej. That is Bartholomew in Polish. I just looked at the 1930 census, and it says that he arrived in the US in 1912. He will not be in the 1910 census. The 1930 census also shows that he had filed his Declaration of Intention to become a citizen ... That paperwork the first step. Try finding that document.
