    3. Hi Tina, I did give wrong information, he did go to a br. (I read "in law") in Styles, Pa. I have the baptism record from Poland and he definetely was born in 1884. Also, he was also from the same town (Nozdrzec) as my grandmother, although my dad always said they didn't know one another there. The town was spelled incorectly on both manifests. I am positive of the town and the birth dates of both from the information from the church there. I do have their 1911 marriage document from the church in NY. Dad told me his dad always went by three names, Valentinus (from his baptism and I was told the Latin name) Walenty his Polish name and William his American name. In 1918 they were living in Cleveland, Ohio where their fourth child was born and I have compared the signatures on his petition and also a document he signed as a wittness to a tragic accident. (sent to me by perhaps a very distant cousin but we don't know how, a lot of the travel companions seem to be in weddings and god parents, but we can't make positive connections.) so I doubt the registration is his. It's funny, I have the baptism papers of my dad and his older sister saying they were born in Rome, NY and when I tried to get their birth certificates, there is no record, anywhere. They want me to send them the documents so they can add them, have you ever heard of anything like this?
