Whilst waiting rather impatiently for feedback from the Australian Archives, regarding immagration papers of my grandparents, my google searching still continues. I have come across a Kuper family that stayed in the same village about 130years prior to my grandmothers birth. According to this link, in 1787 their was one family under the name Kuper in Kulaszne. http://www.carpatho-rusyn.org/new/166.htm Would it be reasonable to say that families generally stayed in their 'own' village, and didnt move about much, if at all. ? I'm not sure about the information on the bottom half of the web page - Parish data, etc, is that also referring to Kulaszne? Bobby.
