You may want to explore the possibility that your great grandparents came to the United States by entering through a port of entry in Canada. Some others on the list may be able to provide more information on which Canadian ports of entry were active at the time that they emigrated and located close to the area that your ancestors emigrated to. Another possibility is that your relative's original destination was different from where they eventually settled. My relatives went to Cleveland, Ohio and then immigrated to Canada. Other relatives went to one location in Canada (that I had never heard of) and then settled in a different location in Canada.
