Hello fellow PBS friends, I'm sure this has appeared on the site numerous times,, but I had no intent on traveling to Poland. I recently found out on first papers from my paternal grandfather that he came from Warsaw. At least that is what is says on the application. I still have not found him on any documents coming into the country or into Canada where they settled. My suspicion is that it is probably somewhere near Warsaw. Since I will be going to Warsaw is there a protocol that I should follow either before I arrive and or is there a particular place that I should go when I get there to look for Jewish records.
