AGAD is the Archiwum Glownego Akty Dawnego, it is in Warsaw, Poland. There are only a few parishes from which this facility has birth, death and marriage records. The ones that I have seen are from the Lwow area. Mainly this archive is the depository for court records, tax records, ect. These records would only be for noble families. -----Original Message----- From: Connie <cjacoby1@cox.net> To: polandbordersurnames@rootsweb.com Sent: Tue, 5 Jun 2007 11:14 am Subject: Re: [PBS] family skeletons & AGAD What is AGAD?
