Tina & Listers, I went to the Family History site and put in Bushaten, but nothing came up. I am totally out of my element. What should I look under in the library? If I do find something, what do I do about understanding what it is, since I know absolutely no Polish or Russian? Kanichi did have any results either. Pat

Bushaten iand Kanichi are in Belarus. In order to find out if there are any records on these places, you will need to know the names of their parishes. This is how the records are filed. Tina, How do I find the parishes? I believe my gmother was orthodox. I am not sure about gfather, but there is a remote possibility he was Jewish.
