Donna---Slowik is sometimes a variant form of the spelling of Slawik. The Slawiks in my heritage were born in Dembowa Gora, Lubliniec, Poland. An example is Jospha (Josephine) Slawik who married Franz (Francis) Polk and settled in Parisville, Huron Co, Paris Twp, MI in the mid-1850s.
