Note, my last name, Yakimicki. There are a number of Jakimicha's in south eastern poland. They are related to my ancestors. My great grandfather came from a village named Stare Siolo near Olezyce (near Lubaczow). There are still some Jakimicha's there. I've been told that the name originated in L'viv'ska Oblast in Ukraine. There is a village south of L'viv that the Jakimicha name likely stems from.
