    3. Hi Deborah, Let's clarify the situation a bit. The word "Gubernia" translates into an administrative division we might refer to as a "province". The Kingdom of Poland (1907) had ten such provinces, one of which was "Gubernia Płocka", with provincial capital Płock, as shown in green on the map > http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f2/Polska_1907_adm.png This is likely your province. We have a problem with your second suggestion containing the word "Luvow". That needs to be clarified. Is your note an English note or are you having difficulty reading and transliterating it?
