Hi Rose, Firstly, i got my letter tanslated from English to Polish through the trans@genealogy service, which you email them the letter (i think its no more than 400 words) and you put #ENG>POL in the subjext line. When i wrote the letter i made it to the point, and so that i didnt ramble on to much becuase it was for someone whom possibly wasnt interested, so i made it quite short. I also put into the letter, asking the person to please pass it onto another person whom has the same surname within your area if you are unable to help. If they live in a small area, where everyone kinda knows everyone, then they possibly would pass it on, that was my thinking anyway. Perhaps print out 10 copies of the letter, and send it to 10 people, assuming you can find addresses with the surname your looking for. Check to see online White pages with relavent surnames. After reading about your experience regarding sending letters, i realize and appreciate the luck the i had. Bobby.
