I must ask you:I have a grandmother who was born in Lemberg, AUSTRIA now Lviv, UKRAINE-I have written many letters between Poland, Ukraine and Austria and yet the mystery still lingers. I decided to use a friend to write a letter in Polish as a last result about two months ago-I doubt if I will get a response. I believe that the area is part of Ukraine lately. I have written to Austria and received a note stating that they do not have any information any longer. Question- Where should I write-whom should I write to-and what should I do if I do not get a letter? Hi Rose, Did you send a letter written in Polish to someone in Ukraine? That could be why you aren't getting an answer. You would have to write in Ukrainian.
