The a with the tail is pronounced as on ... hence Golonbki. Look at the spelling again on the website. It shows it spelled with the a with the diacritical mark called an ongonek meaning tail. English phonetics gives it the golumbki spelling. The city of Elbla~g is pronounced Elblong.
