    3. I thought I'd email the list to highlight a positive story of patience in the search for our genealogy in Poland. Looking back, I see that I've been looking for family now almost 4 years and found out nearly 9 months ago that the Polish Red Cross (Polski Czerwony Krzyz) had some information about family of mine. However, because I am not a polish resident they could not give me the information directly. It had to go through the American Red Cross. First. They told me that in early February and after getting a call from the American Red Cross, finally this weekend, received the information about my family there, along with a contact phone number of a cousin living in Gdansk. I called him yesterday (Sunday 01 July) and with the help of my Polish wife got some information from him about our relationship and found out that there was a brother of my great-grandfather who has never been mentioned - perhaps because he decided to go back to Poland before 1910? This cousin Marek Cwiklinski has promised to scan photos he has with names on them and has me really looking forward to our next trip to Poland so I can go visit him and his family. Assuming we are related (so far it seems real, he mentioned a couple pieces of information that I only recently found out myself) it shows you that the process is lengthy but if you have the patience to explore. AND WAIT A LONG TIME !! then eventually something will come up. jeffrey WHELAN QA | Attenex Corporation Jak Zawsze RMF FM - Najlepsza Muzyka Muzyka Najlepsza Pod Sloncem "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
