DEVONSKE(?) was born on 05 Feb. 1841 , and I do not know the exact town that They were born at., and I do not know what Church that They belonged to. however Koeslin Pommern is the town that They came from in the records of the GTA volumes . However it may be that is the town that They applied for an emigration permit. They had children born in Pommern , FRANZISKA born about 1866 , ADOLPH born about 1869 in Stettin Pommern , and RICHARD born in 1871 If You know of records of Them please reply Karl Roussin , St. Clair , Missouri U.S.A. They landed at N. Y. and then stayed at the town of Oswego N. Y. , My Grandmother Augusta H. W. Haack was born on 05 Sept. 1873 at Oswego N. Y. , then in about 1875 They went to the town of Cuba , Crawford county , of MO.

Hello Tina Thank You for Your reply. I have checked out some of those microfilms of Stettin , and all of the " batch " numbers , of all of the Stettin area. I have been searching for the Haack ancesters , for so long that I wonder if They came over to the U.S.A. under an assumed name. The batch numbers of Koslinka , and Stuhm do not seem to be entered .
