    3. Fred, Have you checked which records the transcribers used to find the info on Poznan marriages? Most will have come from FHL Films; ordering and reading these should give you more information on your family and hopefully also take you further back in years. Are you familiar with the library catalogue at http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp and using Family History Centres? Some Poznan records are also now online as digital images: http://labs.familysearch.org/ and follow record search. Good luck. Bronwyn. A marriage record will tell you where both attended church, their parents names, witnesses, witnesses ages, relationships and residence, ages of the bride and groom, if the parents were living or not and when the banns were read.
