You might find what village they were from in a World War 1 Draft Registration Card. I tried searching for one on John Wozniak and there were too many hits for me to view every one, trying to guess which one was yours. http://www.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=6482 If you want this information and have any idea what years the men in the family were born, who were born between 1875 and 1900, possibly from the census records you say you have, then please post that information to help SKS narrow their search if you don't have access to the WW1 data yourself. It would also help if you could say where they were most likely to be living in 1917-1918. There were a lot of John Wozniaks in Chicago if I recall correctly.
