Some of this will help you interpret the various numbers on the manifest: http://www.jewishgen.org/infofiles/Manifests/ http://www.jewishgen.org/infofiles/Manifests/occ/ The printed name Stefan Ficyk may have been written at a different time than when the shipping clerk filled in the manifest page; perhaps in 1936 when Stefan applied for a certificate of arrival and naturalization. Alias names sometimes referred to the name on the ticket which the passenger used when he did not have a ticket of his own. Perhaps someone on this mailing list can give you a more detailed explanation.
