First, I want to thank everyone who replied to my post about my Grandmother, I really appreciate your help and suggestions. Since mostly all of the replies were sent to me directly, I will post the suggestions I recieved to the lists. 1 - begin with documentation - gather birth, death, burial, obituary, SS#, WWI & WWII draft info, and any other documents I can find. 2 - check census 3 - check for frequency of name distribution in current day Poland and regional distribution 4 - check Family HIstory Library for historical documents 5 - check out on-line databases such as Ancestry.com.
