I have done considerable research on the Grabowski family from the following parishes: Zielona, Krasne, Paluki and Makow. If anyone is researching the Grabowski family from any of those parishes I can give you much information. Unfortunately, the Grabowski surname is very common in Poland and I know NOTHING about that surname except in the above parishes. My many times great grandmother was Kunegunda Grabowski married to Grzegosz Slaski. I was able to obtain her will from 1787. I can go back in a straight line to her ancestors to the year 1530. the family owned the village of Grabowo Trojany and Niesiobedy both in the Zielona parish (in the old province of Ciechanow). I also have information about the Grabowski family from Grabowo Gesie again in the Zielona parish. The last information I received from an elderly gentleman in Grabowo Gesie who had a large handwritten ancestral tree which he permitted me to copy. I also have ancestors from this line. Kunegunda Grabowska both in 1762 and 1776 went to court to petition the court to receive the estates of her siblings who died childless. According to Polish law if a person died without issue their part of the estate reverted back to their next of blood kin and not to their spouses. Because Kundegunda was the only one of her siblings to have children, she inherited all of her father's estate.
