HI I have vista on my computer. I don't what it is called but the little icon (on mine it looks like a "flying window") on the lower left of the very bottom tool bar- it opens and shows all the programmes on our computer (so I guess it's called a DIRECTORY!<duh!!> Smile) I open that; and along with Microsoft Word, calculator, Family Tree Programme, Excel & etc. comes "SNIPPING TOOL"- it kinda takes a "screen picture".... Where would I find it on the computer" For Linda, I had Ancestry but a lot of the documents printed fuzzy. For JD, how can I get win.ptr? For Jim, I have windows. The page I am trying to copy has a lot of information some of which was added years later. The document is from 1920 and is the only one I can find. It states she lived in the US from 1906-11. I can not find a manifest in her maiden name. It's said she lived in NY when she came here and then went to PA where she married. My problem is that the church she married in says they have no records. The church split, a bitter dispute, and my grandmothers part no longer was under the Pope. Can't figure out what happened to the records. I assume she married sometime between 06-11, were they requied to have wedding applications in Pa. at that time? did they have register in a court? Thanks to all of you who responded.
