Thank you Fred and Tina for your infor. And to everyone else-this is such a great site. I love all the info. The other day I went back and read through yearsof the Archives. They were just full of interesting tidbits. After I received your message Fred I looked up the EEG Society website and printed of their membership page and I am going to become a member. I am also going to contact Suzan Marzec's work shop about "Simply Polish" and see if it is possible to obtain notes and info about her work shop. I can't attend it-its to far away. The same with Winnipeg-its on the opposite end of this country. Once before I signed up for a genealogist course about researching in Poland and Germany but I have dial up internet and it is just so slow that it was just impossible to access. I appreciate all your info and I plan to keep working at unraveling the mystery. Next fall I should have access to high speed internet and then things should be a bit easier. Tina I haven't gotten to search on the website you recommended yet but I wilI and I appreciate the suggestion. I have been working on books and income tax for 2008 this past while. Shouldn't be so complicated but we sort of retired last year and sold the ranch and so there is still a bit to figure out. Next year it should be (I hope) very simple for the first time in 48 years! I'm looking forward to that. On top of books I have a very bad tremor-some times it is worse than others but at this particular time iit makes working on the computer very complicated. I have to correct all the time and I Loose things when I save them sometimes. It is very frusterating-it takes five times as long to do everything. Fun when you do books on the computer-but it beats trying to write. Have a great day everyone-I look forward to every Polandbordersurnames email!! Gloria
