I find these offers and suggestions for memoirs and books of first-hand accounts as a big benefit of being on this board. Most of us would never had known about them. I would suggest anyone with one of these books to send a copy to Greenleaf Press. They are a catalog history bookstore that sells history books 'for the thoughtful child' -- and adult. I am not affiliated with this company, so recommending this is not for personal gain. Over a million home schoolers, plus many others who seek books portraying history honestly trust these guys when they sell a book -- trust that they and their children are getting authentic history.
