Good evening: I am planning to write to the archives in Minsk, Belarus to try and get more information on my great-grandfather this weekend. Must this letter be written in Belorussian or is English acceptable? Likewise, would I need to write in Polish if I wanted to contact the archives in Poland for other parts of my family?
